RZA, Four Tet and The Gaslamp Killer Feature in New Book About Record Collecting

As Exclaim points out, popular vinyl-centric website Dust & Grooves will release a book on, um, record collecting, this coming Record Store Day, aka April 19.

Dust & Grooves: Adventures in Record Collecting is the brainchild of photographer Eilon Paz and boasts a foreword by the Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA. The 416-page coffee table book features over 130 collectors from “well-known vinyl champions, “ as well as “known and unknown DJs, producers, record dealers, and everyday enthusiasts.” Some of those “known” people include Four Tet,Gaslamp Killer, Jonny Trunk and Gilles Peterson.

Dust & Grooves: Adventures in Record Collecting is split into two parts with the first 250 pages dedicated to full page photos with captions and quotes while its back half features 12 in-depth interviews with vinyl-hounds.

The new book will get a worldwide release on May 10. More information and excerpts of the book can be found here.
